I am creating .nfo files for my movies by exporting the videodb.xml and copying the info from there to an .nfo file and saving it in the same directory as the movie.avi, movie.tbn, as a movie.nfo file. i have ran into a puzzling issue. i have a xbox 1.6 softmodded with Krayzie Ndure 1.1 for Splinter Cell. i have xbmc as my dashboard (beta 2) with a wd 500 GB ied hard drive. now heres the issue I'm running into, but for starts i was not sure if this a hardware or software issue. i have currently about 60+ movie on the g drive. now when i start to reach around 75 GB left of space on it all of a sudden any new movies i transfered to it will not play completely. they cut out at different times for different movies but all the other movies i copied before it played normally. I dont know if this has been posted here or not, but Canon is offering a rebate again. You double the rebate amount if you buy 2 canon items, or triple if you buy 3 canon items. I am creating .nfo files for my movies by exporting the videodb.xml and copying the info from there to an .nfo file and saving it in the same directory as the movie.avi, movie.tbn, as a movie.nfo file. i have ran into a puzzling issue. i have a xbox 1.6 softmodded with Krayzie Ndure 1.1 for Splinter Cell. i have xbmc as my dashboard (beta 2) with a wd 500 GB ied hard drive. now heres the issue I'm running into, but for starts i was not sure if this a hardware or software issue. i have currently about 60+ movie on the g drive. now when i start to reach around 75 GB left of space on it all of a sudden any new movies i transfered to it will not play completely. they cut out at different times for different movies but all the other movies i copied before it played normally. I have a sound toggle button. Once the .swf starts, the music loop fades in and plays. Click on toggle button, it fades out and vice versa. I have the initial code in the main scene, Frame 1. Within the toggle button, I have three frames and code for each frame to conduct the function accordingly. Linkage has been activated for the sound file, Identifier "mysound" with both Export for ActionScript and Export in first frame selected. This is a unix kernel parameter that you can change, looks like the default is 4096 files can be opened at one time (keep in mind Apache and MySQL both open hundreds of files for reading/writing). If this starts to happen consistenly, I would increase this kernel parameter.Since I have no clue how to increase the kernel value, I'll just wait to see if it happens again.
